This year’s trip has an unusual genesis.
A few years back, met a woman from Seattle, while we both enjoyed Seaside/OR’s wonderful hostel. Tracie mention having lived in remote, yet emotional rewarding Washington “Cascades”.
Considering that my visits never included our 49th parallel border with Canada any further west than Detroit, such a trip has been gestating, mentally, for several years.
There will be my usual, slow, journey thru spots along the way, but basically, it’s from San Fran, up north of Seattle, then east to Michigan’s upper peninsula.
Hope this can be a shared journey.
